Way back in 1886, Goodsprings’ first permanent structure was built.  And this stone cabin still stands prominently amongst some 20th century structures.

Pioneer Saloon, constructed circa 1913, is open for business.  Stop in for a cold one after you enjoy a walking tour of this historic town.

Goodsprings, one hub of a historical township, also has an old schoolhouse still used to instruct youngins. The doors to this historic Nevada educational establishment were initially swung open in the fall of 1913.

As you enter this town filled with mining memories, you can’t miss its cemetery.  Jump out and take a look at those headstones. However, be mindful of where you tread on this preservation site.  And imagine hand digging a hole in that ground.

This old mining town is worth a trip and it’s a freebie!
